Nancy Pearl – Author, Literary Critic, and “America’s Librarian”

We are excited to announce that noted literary critic and “America’s Librarian” Nancy Pearl will be the 2023 keynote speaker for the Long Island Library Conference. Nancy is a lifelong reader and supporter of libraries. She regularly comments on books on National Public Radio’s Morning Edition and on her monthly “Book Lust with Nancy Pearl” show on the Seattle Channel. Her most recent accolade is the “Literarian Award for Outstanding Service to the American Literary Community” presented to her by the National Book Foundation in 2021.
